NEDRA'S BEANS

Great, easy dish for a picnic or potluck

Ingredients:
¾ cup tomato ketchup
¼ cup packed dark brown sugar
¼ cup water
2 tablespoons molasses
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon bottle liquid smoke
1 can each (about 15 oz.) red kidney, can-nellini, pinto and black beans, RINSED AND DRAINED
Directions:
Mix these ingredients in a 3-4 quart saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stir-ring often, until mixture comes to a boil, about 4 minutes.
Add beans.
Cook over medium heat, stirring often, until mixture returns to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 5 minutes.

NOTE: I usually make the sauce on the stove and then combine all in a crock pot.
