chevron_rightI want to change my front door
Great! Enhancing your home and the neighborhood is a good project. Hacienda del Rey has Architectural Guidelines to help you choose doors that complement the Spanish style of the neighborhood. There are also approved colors listed in the Guidelines. The Guidelines can be found on our 'Governing Documents' page (click on the heading on the left side of homepage). The process to approve changes may take up to 45 days, or less if you choose items that fit the approved style/guidelines. The application form can be found on the 'Governing Documents' page also. Remember, don't buy an item or install something UNTIL you have Board approval.

chevron_rightWho do I call if the street light near my home goes out?
Report it directly to SRP at 602-236-8490. They will want the pole number (on pole in yellow sticker).

chevron_rightAre we going to have another assessment? Are we financially sound?
Our reserves are building at the rate stipulated by our RDA (Reserve Data Assessment) documents which means that all scheduled future maintenance/replacement is covered for the next 30 years. Should there be something not accounted for in the RDA (e.g. painting or capitol improvement not in the RDA) there may be an assessment. When community painting is needed, there will likely be an assessment so that all the houses are painted with the same color at the same time by the same company.

chevron_rightWhy is the speed limit 13 mph?
To get your attention! That's why. Many residents walk around the neighborhood, enjoy the Greenbelt, ride bicycles and we want everyone to be safe. Same reason we have speed bumps. Just to remind you to be careful and considerate.

chevron_rightI read the Architectural and Landscape Guidelines, yet I see all kinds of things that are not permitted (white vinyl windows or wood doors, non-Spanish glass doors, single screen doors on French doors, rocks of differing size/colors). Why can't I?
For years there weren’t any specific guidelines, the houses were Navaho White, and oversight was inconsistent. Now we have guidelines, an architectural committee, Yearling Brown houses and a new revitalized look. Going forward we are striving to maintain a coherent community appearance consistent with the original architectural design. The Board enforces these guidelines for new requests but existing non-compliant items are often grandfathered in.

chevron_rightHow Do I Use the Pickleball Courts
Users need to bring their own paddles and ball. Open the gate lock with your SportsCourt key, take the cable off the net and 2 people then lift the ends of the net and position across the Pickleball court where the 2 short blue lines are (DON'T TRY TO DRAG IT). NOTE: the key remains in the lock until you return the net. When finished, then reverse and re-lock net back against the fence with the cable and padlock.
