Freezer Coleslaw

Quick and easy dish

Ingredients: Medium cabbage, shredded
½ cup water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp whole mustard seed
1 tsp celery seed
1 carrot, grated
1&1/2 cups sugar
1 green pepper, diced
1 cup white vinegar
optional – 1 small onion - rings
Directions: Mix cabbage with salt. Let stand one hour.
Add carrot, green pepper, (onion), combine remaining ingredients,
boil one minute. Cool. Pour over vegetables and mix well.
Left overs can be frozen, thawed, and refrozen.
